Original Items: During World War Two, as professional ballplayers joined the armed forces, some of the best baseball was being played on the diamonds of service teams. The tradition of exception baseball teams in the U.S. Military continued well into the 1950s.

This is a size Medium early 1950s Korean War era Marine Corps baseball uniforme consisting of jersey and pants. it is constructed from gray wool with stitched on blue and gold EGA 1st Marine Division Guadalcanal Patch on left shoulder. The jersey features blue piping and 4 gray buttons and is ink stamped USMC on interior neck. The reverse has blue and gold stitched letter 22. Overall condition is excellent.

Also included are matching 3/4 length pants in size medium. Gray wool stitched with blue piping, belt loops, concealed button fly, and a web USMC waist belt. Overall condition is excellent.
